| For the last 10 years, John E.K. and his band The Memphis Storm, have been playing the tri-state area. Also for the last 10 years, John has been fighting through a bad lower back and neck issue. His back gave out this past spring. His last gig was in May 2005. He managed to get through the summer and had lower back surgery on 8/21/05. The surgery was a success but in October he started having severe right arm and neck pain. After a few tests he found out that the two discs in his neck were gone. On 12/19/05 he had a double fusion. This surgery was also a success, but since they go in through the front of your throat the healing time is long. John plans to be back in action in the fall of 2006 and would like to thank everyone for their e-mails and phone calls. |
